Hello, I'm Jenni Parker and my passion is exploring how to provide rich online learning experiences for students unable to attend regular university courses.

I am a Lecturer at Murdoch University (School of Education) and a Sessional Lecturer at Edith Cowan University (School of Management). I am also completing a Master of Education by Research at Murdoch University. My primary area of teaching is integrating technology in the classroom and my research focus is authentic e-learning so I spend many hours on my computer working, studying and exploring new technolgies.

Prior to working in higher education I ran my own training and development business, JenMar Services (founded in 1999). In this role I provided a full range of training and assessment services for registered training organisations and other organisations within the vocational education and corporate learning sectors. I specialised in delivering computer training (Microsoft Office: Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced) and workplace training and assessment courses (BSZ98).

I first became involved with online learning in 2004 when I took up a contract as a Senior Project Officer with WestOne Services (DET). In 2006 I accepted a contract as an eLearning Consultant with the Department of Community Development (DCD) to implement their Learning and Development Centre's Online Learning site. In 2010 I volunteered my services as an online facilitator and administrator with Integrating Technology and helped design and deliver online Moodle courses to hundreds of teachers around the world who were interested in learning how to use Moodle .

I am a qualified trainer (Cert IV TAA). I have a BA in Training and Development (ECU) and a Graduate Diploma of Creative Industries specialising in Interactive Media Development (ECU). You will find more detailed information about my experience and qualifications in my online resume on Linkedin.
